PATTERN OF COMPLAINT
On December 1, 2016 BBB corresponded with The Wicca Movement regarding a pattern of complaints:
BBB files indicate this business has a pattern of complaints concerning consumers expressing concern with advertising, billing and delivery issues. Consumers state they paid a shipping fee (Between $1-$5.95), with their credit card to order a free bracelet online. Consumers maintain without their authorization; they are enrolled and billed a $19.99 membership fee and a $.51 service fee. Consumers allege they did not receive the free bracelet.
The business provided the following response:
When purchasing any product from wiccamovement.com you are not obligated or forced to sign up for our membership. We offer promotions from time to time as a special offer to give our membership club a try. We offer one of our $25 pieces of jewelry for $1 for starting a 30 day free trial with the Wicca movement where you receive the benefits listed here https://wiccamovement.com/iump-subscription-plan/ . The price of the membership is disclosed on the sign-up page as well as how to cancel. The customer is also emailed the following email on how to cancel when signing up with us below. We also have instructions on our site We offer phone support and email and refund customers their most current month of membership if they do not take advantage of their perks We cancel anyone for any reason if they simply call or send us an email.
